Meet the man swimming through the Great Pacific Garbage Patch!
Icebreaker presents a panel discussion with Ben Lecomte and his Vortex crew. Join us as they talk about the 300 mile swim from Hawaii to California through the infamous floating garbage patch and the impact of micro-plastics and microfibers in the ocean.
Our other panelists Kathryn Kellogg, author and a leader in the zero waste movement, and Anna Frost, an international and professional mountain, trail and ultra runner from New Zealand, will also chat about different ways you can be a change maker and natural progressive in your own life.
One of the changes we can make is to wear natural fibers over synthetics. Everyone is invited to demo an Icebreaker natural fiber t-shirt on a short fun run led by Anna Frost after the panel.
We'll also have a raffle and spot prizes for all attendees!
