Explore the tumbling rapids and waterfalls of Little Yosemite as we hike through the South Bay’s hidden gem: the Sunol Regional Wilderness!
Professional guides. Beautiful trails. A fun group to hike with.
Formerly grazing land, Sunol Regional Wilderness is now a key piece of the East Bay Regional Park’s crown jewel, the Ohlone Wilderness Trail. At just over 6,800 acres in size, this wilderness area is a haven for hikers. On our 8-mile loop, we’ll climb up and down the rolling green hills of the preserve and catch fantastic views of the San Francisco Bay. Along the way, we’ll scramble around the basalt outcrops of the Indian Joe Cave Rocks and revel in the idyllic gorge chiseled out of Little Yosemite by Alameda Creek.
