Our goal is to celebrate the #StopAsianHate movement and familiarize our elected officials with the community's perspective on safety and security here in San Francisco. Special guests District Attorney Brooke Jenkins, City Attorney David Chiu, Sheriff Paul Miyamoto, and activist Monthanus Ratanapakdee (daughter of the late Vicha Ratanapakdee) will speak about public safety and fighting Asian hate. The short speaking program will be followed by live performances from local Asian American artists Son of Paper and DJ Dailo.There will be a prize for the person who brings the most people, tracked via invitation link! Please contact Forrest Liu at forrest@togethersf.org for a unique tracking link; the winner will be announced at the event. This event is organized by Asians Are Strong, BeChinatown, Dear Community, Delta Chinatown Initiative, Ed Lee Dems, Stand with Asians, Stand With Asian Americans, and TogetherSF.
