Please join us to celebrate EARTH DAY @ John Barsby Community School. This is a public family friend event, ALL WELCOME. The theme for this year's celebration is "Earth Service." There will be dozens of vendors, food trucks, interactive booths, baby goats, honey bees, speakers, and local experts all sharing their knowledge and projects. We will also serve a delicious local and wild harvested lunch from 11:00 to 14:00.
In years previous, Nanaimo and Area Land Trust, NALT, along with the city of Nanaimo have hosted the Wild Foods Festival as Nanaimo’s Earth Day event with great success. We would like to help continue this tradition and raise the profile of several Earth friendly initiatives by committing to organize an Earth Day Celebration at Barsby this year. You are invited!
