Introduction to Native Planting Workshop
Are you new to San Antonio or new to planting with natives? This workshop will highlight five easy to grow, easy to find, beautiful, useful, and/or edible Texas Native plants that you can use to start planting with natives at home, whether on a yard or patio. Topics will include: importance of natives, tips, and other useful resources. The workshop will end with a walk through the Garden to highlight different methods of growing with natives. Registration includes a native plant to take home. Sponsored by San Antonio Water System. Face coverings required. Space is limited.
Instructor: Maeve Bassett, Conservation & Volunteer Programs Specialist
Fee: $30 ($27 member) includes one native plant. Registration deadline is Friday, February 26 at 1 p.m. WaterSaver Rewards Eligible.
About The Host: Visit us at www.sabot.org. The Garden is open daily, 9am-5pm. Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Years Day.
