- **Event Description**: Join the Town of Saltville and the Beautification Committee for the annual Christmas Parade! 

The parade is Saturday, December 6th at 6:00pm. Line up will begin at 5:00pm at the Saltville Medical Center. 

We are looking for floats to be entered into the 2025 parade! Floats will be judged on overall appearance and how well they follow the parade theme. The theme for 2025 is A Hometown Holiday. Winners will be chosen in the following categories: Civic Groups, Religious Groups, and Youth Groups. Monetary awards will be given for 1st and 2nd place in each category and there will be one award for the overall winner. Float entry is free. The parade is not limited to floats only. Tractors, horses, vintage cars, and other entries are welcome. 

Cash prizes for float winners are as follows: 
$100 for 1st Place 
$50 for 2nd Place 
$50 for the Overall Parade Winner (not limited to one of the categories)

Floats will be judged during the line up hour and during the parade. 

Please remember, to keep the magic of Christmas alive for our youngest parade-goers, no additional Santas are permitted in the parade.
