- **Event Description**: Saltsburg area residents mark your calendars for the annual Saltsburg Light Up Night on Sunday, December 7th from 4 to 6:30 p.m.. 
The event will kick off at 4pm with the SES chorus singing holiday tunes!!??
Other Activities Included:
** Tree decorating and viewing ??-- there will be 85 uniquely decorated trees on and around the Canal Park.  DECORATING YOUR TREE STARTS AT 4pm, but we welcome you to listen to the chorus 1st...they practice hard on their songs ?
** Visits with Santa ?? and the Grinch in Santa's Workshop
** Free crafts and raffles for the kids in the Lions building (214 Point Street)...we will have OVER 75 RAFFLE PRIZES for the kids 
** Costume characters will be strolling the canal (make sure your phone is charged for pictures!).  Come meet Frosty,  Rudolph, Yukon Cornelius and the Bumble,  some adorable Elves and Cindy Lou Who too!!
** Free cookies and hot chocolate
** The Saltsburg Social Center will be selling hot foods such as hot dogs, soup (chicken Noodle, broccoli and cheese) mac and cheese chili, mac salad and more for only $1 each (NO TAKE OUTS)
**Christmas music playing all night long courtesy of DJs Larry and Austin
** If the weather is cooperative there will be local crafters selling their wares (please contact if interested in setting up)

At 6:45 there will be a luminary ceremony down at the River's Edge Stage to remember those who have passed. If you would like to purchase a luminary in memory of a loved one they are $5 each. This includes a bulb on the Memorial Tree that will stay up all season. Bags are limited to 125 so purchase early.  LAST DAY TO PURCHASE A LUMINARY IS DEC 1st.

Trees will once again cost $45 and come with clear ir multicolor lights.  
If youbhad a tree last year, you will have first opportunity to purchase a tree this year.  However,  TREES MUST BE PURCHASED AND PAID FOR BY SATURDAY, NOV 22nd  TO BE GUARANTEED A TREE.   Trees are limited to 85 and there is a waiting list.  If you would like to be put on the waiting list, call/text 724-840-0167.
