Using super-soft BIG yarn, you’ll learn how to create a simple knitted stockinette-style stitch using just your hands — no needles and no prior experience needed. Working at a comfortable, unhurried pace, you’ll be guided step by step through the process of building your blanket, from the first stitches through to finishing.

Each participant will receive up to 4 balls of yarn to create a good sized lap blanket. You’ll work with two complementary colours to create bold, chunky stripes, resulting in a blanket that’s perfect for a sofa, chair, or cosy evenings at home.

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and anyone who enjoys tactile, repetitive making. It’s calm, creative, and deeply satisfying, with plenty of guidance throughout.

You’ll leave with your completed finger-knitted blanket, ready to take home and enjoy.

 All materials are provided. No knitting experience needed.
