Starting at 11:00 AM, Elder Qwiyawultu-hw will welcome guests and speak. Then we'll work together to raise our majestic tipi, which will house a range of events throughout the weekend, including a book launch, puppet shows, a presentation on the Stó:lō Nation's investigations, a ukelele workshop, and opportunities for connection and conversation.

We'll have some pizza, courtesy of True Love Pizza (Elders first, everyone else if there's any left so maybe also pack a snack), bring your work gloves if you have them, and come ready to toil as a team - many hands make light work! 

Not sure you're up for physical work? No problem! You're also welcome to watch. Last year, many Elders felt moved to speak and share wisdom and we hope the same will happen again this year. Either way, it promises to be a fun way to come together and start the weekend with love and laughter.
