As print artists, SSIPS members look for concepts and ideas that honour what they care about. When discussing ideas for the Showcase it was clear that we are all passionate about our home place. How to share that passion with others? Of This Place was born! Original works will inspire islanders and visitors to see, understand and treasure our home here on Salt Spring Island.  Collaboration has been a key concept in creating the show, with many members working together towards different show components. We also worked with two classes from Gulf Islands Secondary School and their prints bring a youth perspective to the exhibition.
