Vancouver’s own infamous Balkan horn blasters BALKAN SHMALKAN return to Salt Spring to rock the dance floor into the night. Heavyweight hitters of brass and dance events, Balkan Shmalkan has toured the festival circuit extensively, laying a foundation of funk and explosive eastern European party energy.


Joining them is the 8 piece disco dance sensation BU VON BLUME, fresh off performing at Vic Skafest, these costumed funk masters lower the disco ball and get down on the stage, their electric performances and spontaneous audience games and gimmicks swift becoming festival legend.


And finally, Salt Springs own ZELK will kick the party into high gear with their original sounds of indie, punk and 90’s alt rock. These hometown troopers can work the dance floor into a froth, the local cherry on top of the pie.
