🍻What do you get when you combine ZooBrew with BooLights? BrewLights! Back by popular demand, celebrate the spooky season at this popular ZooBrew event. Wear your best costume, sip chilling concoctions, and get ready for a spook-tacular time where eerie decorations and glowing lights transform Hogle Zoo into a bewitching venue of brews and boos.
At ZooBrew: BrewLights, you'll learn about your favorite nocturnal animals and how our actions impact them as they migrate or prepare to stay in Utah for the cold winter months.
🕵️Biofact cart in the Aline W. Skaggs Maker Space from 6:30-9:30 PM: learn about Utah wildlife, including ways to identify animals (even when you can't see them) and how to be safe around them.
❄️Education chats in the Norma W. Matheson Education Animal Center starting at 6:30 PM: Visit ambassador animals and learn how they survive Utah winters.
🧙♀️Interactive witches program in Oasis Plaza: explore your unique magic, identify the animal familiar that guides it, and learn how the fate of these animals in the wild is connected to your power.
🧟Dr. Frankenstein program in Wildlife Theater from 7:30-8:00 PM
👉 Please note:
-ZooBrews are 21+ events. A valid state-issued photo ID or passport is required to enter the event. Guests will be turned away without a valid ID.
-In accordance with Utah liquor laws, ZooBrew event guests can only purchase and consume up to four alcoholic beverages per event.
👉 Drink wristbands:
-We'll be using a non-transferrable wristband system for alcoholic beverage purchases.
-Guests consuming alcohol must purchase a drink wristband, with a maximum of four alcoholic drinks, before heading to the bars. A staff member must place the wristband at the time of purchase.
-Drink wristbands will be available for purchase at Entry Plaza from 6:30-8:45 PM.
-If a guest removes or tampers with the drink wristband for any reason, it will void the drink purchases with no refund.
-You must be physically present at the bar and show your wristband to redeem your drink. You cannot get a drink for someone who is not physically present at the bar, or give a drink to someone who does not have a wristband with available drinks.
-Drinks are $10 each. Cash and card accepted.
-ZooBrew admission tickets and drink wristbands are non-refundable and non-transferrable to another ZooBrew event. Drink wristbands are only available for the night you purchase them and DO NOT roll over to another ZooBrew event or guest
👉 Know before you go:
-Last call for drinks is at 9:10 PM.
-No alcohol is served after 9:15 PM.
🦓 Hogle Zoo wants you to have fun like responsible party animals. We encourage all guests to be prepared with ride share or designated driver.
Costume Policy: For the safety of resident animals and guests, we do not allow full face-covering masks, weapons, or resemblance of weapons of any kind. Hogle Zoo reserves the right to deny entry to anyone whose costume is inappropriate, crude, revealing, graphic, or deemed a risk or threat by zoo staff.
