Scientifically validated in the early 1980s through the pioneering work of Stephen LaBerge and Keith Hearne, lucid dreaming has since become a topic of growing interest among researchers, psychologists, and those exploring the nature of consciousness.Long before modern science, spiritual traditions including Buddhism, Taoism, Islam, and Indigenous wisdom traditions recognized lucid dreaming as a path to profound insight and personal transformation. By becoming aware within the dream, practitioners sought a deeper understanding of both themselves and the nature of reality.Carl Jung's exploration of dreams and the unconscious introduced the concept of the Self—the archetype of wholeness that integrates the conscious and unconscious psyche.
