A reception will immediately follow on the 3rd floor of City Hall.

NOTE: Due to the ceremony, the Main Library will be closed for operations until 2 p.m. However, the event is open to the public. 

ARRIVAL: 200 East will be closed to traffic (between 400 South and 500 South). 

— Arrive early to allow extra time for security screening.  
— Enter through the library’s southeast doors—the 200 East entrance will be closed. 

PARKING: Free parking will be available in the Salt Lake City Main Library’s underground parking garage. Guests should take a ticket upon arrival and gates will open automatically upon exit.

— Access the parking garage entrances via 500 South (westbound) or 400 South (eastbound) between 200 and 300 East. 
— Staff will be available to help those who need mobility assistance travel between City Hall and the Library parking garage.  

TRANSIT: Attendees are also encouraged to consider taking public transportation. 

— The closest TRAX stations are the Library and Courthouse stops.

ADA Accommodations:  To request accommodations, including ASL or other language interpreters, auxiliary aids and services, please contact the City Council Office by Monday, Dec. 29 at 801-535-7600, council.comments@slc.gov, or relay service 711.  

ADA parking will be available along 200 East between 400 South and 500 South. Security personnel will allow access to those displaying a qualifying license plate or placard.
