- **Event Description**: This weekly parenting yoga class is for those carrying, preparing or caring for a new baby at GLOW in Salt Lake City. This class is hosted by SHAUNTEA & taught by owner, Destiny S. Lake, a Hatha & Prenatal Certified Yoga teacher. 

Come learn about the prenatal & postnatal process, your body, explore coping techniques for labor & delivery (as a birthing body or support person) as well as parenthood, build strength and connectedness in your mind & body, create bonds with other expectant & postpartum parents and feel empowered. This class is also for those supporting friends, family or community members in growing their families that want to learn more - including support tools.

Bring water, a yoga mat if you have one (there plenty of mats to borrow) and wear comfortable clothing.

Class is a sliding scale pay what you can $10-25 per class. HSA & FSA accounts can be used, if applicable. NO Pre-registration to avoid paying for class if you end up not being able to attend. Although listed on Glows website as a class offered, you cannot sign up or pay through their site as SHAUNTEA rents space. We have plenty of room to fit everyone who makes it & there are not class size restrictions. Payment can be taken before or after class. 

Please note: Some people attending class are surrogates, family support, intended parents or may not identify as female. This class is for all people, with differing abilities, body shapes & sizes, as well as gender identities. Come as you are.
