- **Event Description**: This is an instructor level course. All candidates must hold current NRA Pistol Instructor certification. Over the 2 days we will complete the student and instructor level courses for the NRA Personal Protection in the home curriculum.

This course is perfect for those who have or wish to obtain their concealed permit or just want to ensure they know how to properly protect themselves in the home environment. This is a great course for educators and office workers. Students should expect to shoot approximately 300 rounds of ammunition. Students will learn basic defensive shooting skills, strategies for home safety and responding to a violent confrontation, firearms and the law, how to choose a handgun for self-defense, and continued opportunities for skill development.

Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 30 days prior to the first day of the class in order to receive a refund. Classes cancelled less than 30 days prior to class can be creditied to a future course. No Refunds will be given for students who fail to meet course objectives/standards or for dismissal from class for Firearms Safety Violations. INSTRUCTOR level courses have a 50% non-refundable course fee.
