Local Author Veronica R. De Almeida

Local author Veronica R. De Almeida will be in store Saturday, Dec. 6th from 1-4PM! She'll be promoting her book "How a Jail Cell Saved Christmas." It's a mesmerizing true story about how Veronica and her daughter's family dynamics change quickly from seemingly happy to despair in this intimate story of a devastating divorce that threatens to destroy Christmas. Told in Veronica's own voice, this tale is not for the faint of heart. It show how she, as an Honorary Consul, got three Americans released from a jail in El Salvador. You won't want to miss this one to put you in the holiday spirit!
