Brett began practicing yoga in 2004. He received his 200 Hour Yoga Teacher certificate from Purna Yoga in 2010 and Yoga Alliance E-RYT in 2019. Brett has a heart-centered Iyengar-based teaching style. The teaching emphasizes breathing techniques, anatomically informed alignment principles, effective muscular action, and meditative present moment awareness. He understands that the practice of yoga; 1) opens the body which gives rise to physical health, 2) opens the mind which gives rise to mental health, and 3) opens the heart which leads to total acceptance and unconditional love of self and others.
