Research continues to show that purposeful movement combined with music can positively influence the brain, body, and emotional well-being.This interactive workshop explores the neuroscience of dance as a therapeutic practice and demonstrates how movement can serve as a practical tool to support mental health, cognitive function, physical performance, and quality of life. Participants will learn how rhythm, music, movement, creativity, and social connection influence the nervous system and contribute to healthier well-being regardless of age.Drawing from current neuroscience research and the Grey Matters Rhythmic Movement, Music and Dance Program, the workshop combines brief presentations with experiential activities that participants can immediately apply in healthcare, community, educational, and wellness settings.Participants should come prepared to move, learn, and experience firsthand how dance can become a powerful resource for promoting health across the lifespan.No registration is needed.
