The Salmon Wild River Camp is led by fabulous Dances of Universal Peace leaders from Idaho Montana and beyond.This diverse team will carry us through the many spiritual traditions of the world in the ancient practice of community circle dance.We also have an event in Lava Hot Springs at the end of July and in Hamilton Montana in September. Click on our profile to see all.Food and LodgingCamp is not providing food or lodging. Restaurants grocery stores and motels are in town a few miles from our dance location. Camping is a great option. There is lots of room to camp near the tent. Bring your own camping gear and kitchen items. Water is available and electricity will be solar (electric plugins are available nearby in the ranch shop).Is It Really Fifty Bucks?Yes… the camp is very inexpensive. This is because we love what we do. This is not about making money but about coming together. plus we don’t have to pay for our tent location lodging/camping/food is on your own — and we need you!Of course... extra donations at the supporter level are highly appreciated and help us fulfill our mission of spreading dances around our region. What's it Like?No partner or experience needed. Dancing with us is like joining a tribe. When we first come together we often don't know each other's name but become immediate brothers and sisters. The camp is held by elder wisdom with experienced leaders who have been doing this for over thirty years. Often something new like this can be uncomfortable but we know how to bring you in with a smooth transition from aloneness to togetherness. There is an essence in every human being that yearns for togetherness. We use our feet simple music and ancient wisdom to create a moving space of heart.
