- **Event Description**: The Salmon Arm Folk Music Society (SAFMS) Annual General Meeting will be held on January 21, 2026 at the Comfort Inn in Salmon Arm. Doors will open at 6:30pm and the AGM will begin promptly at 7:00pm. The membership, past and present, and the public are invited to attend.

 Board of Directors elections will be held during the AGM, there are 4 positions to be filled. The SAFMS Governance Committee encourages nominees with skills and experience in finance, legal and sponsorship to apply. 

All candidates interested in being on the Board of Directors must be an active member in good standing and submit their intention to be considered a nominee for the AGM election by January 12, 2026

Only active members in good standing are eligible to vote at the AGM. If you would like to vote at the 2026 AGM you must purchase your membership prior to December 24, 2025. Memberships are available www.rootsandblues.ca
