Fame Preservation Group is officially kicking off our second annual Fame Fest event which is set to take place outside of Old Lutheran Cemetery on 205 East Franklin Street where we'll have the pavement barricaded for our many civic vendors, food truck, restrooms and especially, our new living history space that will be provided in the new open green space we've provided next to our newly paved gravel parking lot which will all be utilized for our Festival.
For the intent to celebrate North Carolina's Confederate Heritage Month during this 250th Anniversary of the birth of America from the Revolution, we host this event in honor of those founding principles for which the Colonists and the Confederates held dear and later memorialized in through our many national and local Monuments.
Fame Fest welcomes all civic, commercial, and historically driven vendors to rake part in our event to celebrate our rich Southern Heritage and patriotic cause best represented through the Fame Confederate Monument, thus our inspiration.
Anyone interested in being an official vendor will be promoted as such and welcomed to a first come, first serve vendor space fitted for a single non-powered canopy tent setup in direct vicinity to parking, restrooms, and food as well as our many planned programs.
