- **Event Description**: In this five-week course, (10 classes), students will learn basic signs to carry on simple conversation with deaf individuals. Role playing and games designed to teach basic signs are used as tools. Students will also learn about Deaf Culture.  By the end of class, a sampling of the skills you will learn are: Manual Alphabet, numbers, introducing yourself and exchanging personal information.  

Cost by check or money order is $150.  Credit Card payment is $156.  Classes held on Tuesday/Thursday from 6p-8p at DILA starting February 24 through March 26, 2026. Limited to 20 individuals.  Registration is only through DILA by contact Laura Jones, Administrative Assistant. 410-742-5052 x101. No third party event planners.
