A Regency Christmas at Mompesson House

Step back in time and immerse yourself in a Regency Christmas at Mompesson House. Christmas at Mompesson starts on Friday 21 November and runs until Tuesday 23 December, Friday - Tuesday, 11am-3.30pm (last entry at 3pm). Normal admissions apply.

In the Regency era, Christmas celebrations stretched over a month, from Advent to Twelfth Night. Explore each room, revealing a different tradition of a Regency Christmas. See how Mrs Portman might have decorated the house with greenery, and imagine the season's most anticipated event: the Twelfth Night Ball. The Dining Room will be decorated for a grand Christmas Day feast, aglow with many candles.
