Memory Cafés offer a welcoming, dementia-friendly space where people living with memory loss—and those who care about them—can relax, connect, and feel supported. Enjoy conversation and community while building meaningful connections. Free and open to all, these Ann Arbor gatherings provide comfort, understanding, and support.

Started in 2020 by Dementia Friendly Services and Holy Faith Church, the “Come As You Are” Memory Café has grown into a welcoming community gathering. Now hosted by the First Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Ann Arbor with AARP Michigan, cafés are held one to three times each month. Attend in whatever way feels right—come and go as you please, participate or simply observe.
