The Warren-Hussey-Smalzel Trio enjoy many different genres and play country, rock, bluegrass, swing, Calypso, originals and more. Bruce Warren is a former National Champion on hammered dulcimer and performs in various duos and trios locally. Bill Hussey performs both solo and with local bands (Santa Rios, Ragged Mountain Bluegrass). Steve Smalzel is a long-time Salida artist and musician who has been performing in Chaffee County since the 1990s, both solo and with string and jug bands. Expect hot tunes and songs on fiddle, banjo, guitar, hammered dulcimer, harmonica and the Caribbean rumba box.
