“The Librarians” is a 2025 American documentary directed by Kim A. Snyder that follows librarians fighting against book bans in the United States. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and highlights the efforts of librarians in states like Texas and Florida who are facing harassment and threats while defending intellectual freedom and the right to read.
This event is a fundraiser for Elevating Readers Together and bringing authors to Salida. Tickets are $10 and all proceeds will be donated. Seats are limited and selling quickly.
