This drop-in workshop is designed to help you troubleshoot maintenance issues and master minor repairs for a more productive sewing room.

What You’ll Learn

The "Sewing Machine Commandments": Master the "Thou Shalts" of sewing and take home a handy reminder.

Troubleshooting 101: Our instructors will cover proper threading, bobbin placement, and how to handle tricky fabric/stitch challenges.

Deep Cleaning: Learn how to properly clean your machine to keep it running smoothly.

One-on-One Help: Work with an instructor to understand your specific personal machine (or practice on one of ours).

Professional Servicing & Sharpening

We are excited to host George Pennington, a local expert who services all machine types. George will be on-site to discuss your needs before any work begins.

Logistics & Registration

Registration Fee: $12 (includes snacks!).

Drop-off Option: If you can't bring your machine on the 13th, you can drop it off in advance on June 8th (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM) at MakeKeowee.

Scheduling: After you sign up, Tammy will contact you to schedule your specific appointment time.
