Salem Poetry Project featuring Charles K. Carter

Charles K. Carter is a queer poet from Iowa who now lives in Salem with their husband and spoiled pets. They enjoy live music, yoga, and theatre. Melissa Etheridge is their ultimate obsession. Carter is the author of Follow This Blood to Find a Dead Thing (Fernwood Press), The God of Loneliness (Rebel Satori Press), and If the World Were a Quilt (Kelsay Books).

For the months of November through February the Salem Poetry Project will meet at Marco Polo Global Restaurant. The restaurant’s address is 300 Liberty St SE, Salem and the reading will be in the banquet room.
