Happy RSD Black Friday 2025! Most of you know how this works at the Record Exchange, but if you are NEW to coming to the shop, simply ask someone next to you in line. We have the BEST and KINDEST customers and they’ll be happy to chat with you. We are so grateful for ALL of you, and it is YOUR loyalty, dedication & unique gifts that have helped make the Record Exchange community thrive for 51 years. Thank you!
Details below:
1. OPEN RSD Black Friday 11/28 from 10:00 AM to
5:00 PM. OPEN Small Business Saturday, 11/29 from 10:00 to
5:00 PM.
2. Early birds, the line forms from the front door area and then
down the Pond St. side of the building.
3. From 10:00 to about 11:30, we will allow 6 to 8 customers in
the shop at one time. This will give everyone a fair chance to
go down the wall and get what they want (hopefully!) & it
allows us to check you out without rushing! You KNOW we like
to chat! Please come up the center aisle to check out!
4. After 11:30, come on in…no LIMIT!
5. We only have 1 or 2 copies of some titles, so, unfortunately, when they’re gone, they’re gone. More RSD BF titles were allocated this year, so many stores didn't receive everything they ordered. Most IMPORTANT: We cannot reserve or
hold any RSD BF title for any customer, and there is a LIMIT of 1
copy of each RSD BF title per customer and please, each
customer must pay for their own RSD BF records. Thank you for
helping us keep this process fair for everybody.
6. ALL Black Friday releases are alphabetically arranged on the LOWER 2 ROWS on the RIGHT SIDE WALL of the shop (from FRONT to BACK) as you ENTER. The RSD BF LP bin near the air conditioner and small radiator on right side of shop is for SINGLE copies of RSD BF titles and 45s (7 inchers).
7. For the first 60-90 minutes of the day, we won’t be able to
answer FB messages or emails, and there may be a delay in
answering in the phone if we’re busy. We apologize in advance.
SPECIAL: THIS WEEKEND ONLY: If you pay CASH for a GIFT CARD, you will receive 10% MORE in the GIFT CARD. So a $50 gift becomes $55, and a $100 gift becomes $110.00. Sorry - this DOESN’T apply to credit card purchases of gift certificates!
