Join us for a lively conversation with Professor Donna Seger, co-editor of 𝘚𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘮’𝘴 𝘊𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴: 𝘕𝘦𝘸 𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘏𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘢𝘯 𝘖𝘭𝘥 𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘊𝘪𝘵𝘺, and Dr. Maria Pride, who will highlight the captains and crews that helped secure the colonies’ independence.  

Following the talk, enjoy sea shanties from the Salem band Crowninshield Punch and a reception featuring light refreshments.
