"Cheers to 40 Years"
The 2025 Marion County Relay For Life celebrates 40 Years of Relay For Life since its beginning in 1985.
Relay For Life is a community event Celebrating cancer Survivors, Remembering those taken too soon by cancer, & Fighting Back by spreading awareness of cancer screening guidelines, signs & symptoms of various cancers, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and fundraising for programs, services, research & more funded by The American Cancer Society.
Tentative Schedule for Sept. 27
4pm Registration for cancer survivors begins
Fundraising Booths by Teams open; Foodstands and Food Vendors open
5pm Opening Ceremonies with Survivor Walk
5:30pm Live music by Joel Young
7pm Luminaria Ceremony
8pm Closing Ceremony
Relay For Life is open to everyone of all ages, not just those who have had cancer, for we all know someone who has been affected by cancer. Bring a lawnchair and come enjoy the evening with family, friends, neighbors, and people from throughout Marion County and beyond. you will be glad you came!
