- **Event Description**: HopeDriven - a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization based out of Roanoke, VA - will be hosting our 6th-annual HeRow Expo on Saturday May 23rd from 4:00 to 9:00 PM at the Berglund Ford / Mazda Dealership in Salem, Virginia.

HeRow Expo is a car, truck, and powersports show that is hosted annually in the honor of Rowan Price, the child that we sponsored during our very first event in 2019 that passed away due to leukemia. Each year, the Price family selects the child/family that we will sponsor for this event to honor Rowan, where all proceeds will be donated to the child/family to assist with all costs associated with their life-threatening illness / injury.

For this event, HopeDriven has selected Adrian Barahona, an energetic 4-year old boy full of love, laughter, and energy that was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) in January of 2025. After overcoming complications from treatment, Adrian was finally sent home in October of 2025. 

Unfortunately, in March of 2026, Adrian relapsed with AML and has started intensive salvage chemotherapy in hopes of achieving remission again. The plan is to achieve remission and then get him a stem cell transplant.

Adrian and his family are from Danville, VA but have been spending most of their time in Roanoke as he has gone through his treatment protocols. Once stem cells have been transplanted, they will begin traveling to Richmond, VA once a month.

To date, HopeDriven has been able to sponsor 5 children/families and has raised north of $36,000 since the start of our annual spring show, HeRow Expo.

For this event - ALL vehicle types are welcome and it is only a $10 minimum donation (per vehicle) to enter. ALL money raised from the entry fees, raffles, 50/50, and donations goes directly towards the fundraiser for Adrian and his family for medical costs and everything associated with his treatment.

Show Details:

Location: 834 E Main Street Salem, VA 24153 [Berglund Ford / Mazda Dealership]

-Vehicle Registration: $10 minimum donation
(larger donations are welcomed but not required; charitable donation receipts are available by request)

-All Spectators FREE

-Payment options: Cash (preferred), Cash App, PayPal [NO debit/credit card scanners available)

-Awards given to the Top 30 in show, People’s Choice, Best Stance/Fitment, and Rowan's Choice (selected by the family we sponsor and given to the overall best vehicle in show)

-"Light Up the Night" competition - (all types of vehicles with custom lights are eligible to enter with 2 winners getting a trophy selected by the family that we sponsor)

-Exhaust Competition: Motorcycle, 6 cylinders or less, and 8 cylinders or above, and the winner of each class competes for the Grand Exhaust Champion trophy

-Food trucks, business vendors, silent auction, 50/50 cash prize, cornhole, live DJ, and more!

4:00 PM - Show vehicles enter the venue and show begins

5:30 PM - Judging begins - have your cars cleaned, hoods open, interior visible/accessible, and trunks open (only required for classics/antiques) as well as your numbered sticker on the windshield and the judging form displayed on your dash

8 PM - Judging closes and last call for 50/50 and silent auction at HopeDriven booth

8:15 PM - *tentative based on darkness* - all vehicles with custom lights will be instructed to turn their lights on and they will remain on during the exhaust competition and up until the awards ceremony

8:20 PM - exhaust competition begins (3 classes: powersports, 6 cylinders & below, and 8 cylinders & above)

9:00 PM - Award Ceremony and 50/50 winner announced
