This event celebrates classic New England cooking from the Revolutionary Era , featuring demonstrations and tastings of breakfast staples like Johnny Cakes, sweet treats like apple fritters, as well as Native American dishes like succotash.

Matt will also discuss Revolutionary history such as Sybil Luddington’s ride, the kidnapping of Chauncey Judd, and of course Connecticut’s favorite son, Nathan Hale.

Multigenerational program, limited to 35 participants, ages 7 to adult. Call 860-859-1130 to register. Please note: this is not a hands-on cooking class!
