Confluence LGBT Chorus Presents Building Community: Rooted & Rising
March 6–8, 2026 in Salem, Portland & Corvallis
Confluence LGBT Chorus invites audiences throughout the Willamette Valley to experience the power of music to connect and uplift with Building Community: Rooted & Rising, the second concert of our 26th Season. Performances will take place March 6 in Salem, March 7 in Portland, and March 8 in Corvallis.
Following the season-opening concert, Kindle the Flame, our program continues our long-standing tradition of using choral music to foster belonging, visibility, and community.
Building Community: Rooted & Rising centers on themes of resilience, growth, and shared humanity, celebrating both the roots that ground us and the collective strength that helps us rise.
The concert features guest artist Claire Coulson, joined by interim principal accompanist Jon Stuber, bassist Gail Gage, and drummer Dennis McIntyre. Together, these artists bring depth, warmth, and energy to a program of uplifting and inspiring selections.
Audiences can look forward to a joyful mix of familiar favorites from musicals, movies, and traditional choral literature, thoughtfully curated to inspire hope, unity, and connection across generations and experiences.
