Kora Flamenca c’est la rencontre entre la musique mandingue du virtuose de la kora Zal Sissokho et le flamenco de la compositrice et guitariste de renom Caroline Planté. Les plus chanceux auront découvert Caroline en spectacle avec ses musiciens au Chalet Bellevue, découvrez-la ou redécouvrez-la dans un univers musical différent!

La collaboration artistique de Caroline Planté et Zal Sissokho se veut un voyage original et immersif qui célèbre la diversité́ et l'unité́ à travers l'art. Chacune de leurs chansons raconte une histoire unique, unissant les influences de l'afro-mandingue et du flamenco.

Au Parc Lummis, le dimanche 2 août à 15h. Apportez votre chaise ou votre couverture pour vous installer confortablement. Gratuit pour les résidents de Morin-Heights et pour les 17 ans et moins, frais d’accès au parc de 5$ pour les non-résidents. En cas de pluie, le spectacle sera déplacé au Chalet Bellevue (27, rue Bellevue).

The Municipality of Morin-Heights is proud to present Kora Flamenca at Lummis Park! Kora Flamenca is the meeting point between the mandingue music of kora virtuoso Zal Sissokho and the flamenco of renowned composer and guitarist Caroline Planté. The most fortunate may have already seen Caroline perform with her musicians at Chalet Bellevue; now, discover or rediscover her in a different musical universe!

The artistic collaboration between Caroline Planté and Zal Sissokho is an original and immersive journey that celebrates diversity and unity through art. Each of their songs tells a unique story, blending Afro-Mandingue and flamenco influences.

In Lummis Park on August 2, at 15:00. Feel free to bring your chair or blanket to settle in comfortably. Free for residents of Morin-Heights and children 17 and under; a $5 park admission fee applies to non-residents. In case of rain, the show will be moved to the Chalet Bellevue (27 Bellevue Street).
