The Festival closes in style with the marvellous dancers of Les Ballets Jazz Montréal and the world premiere of Joie de vivre, a thrilling work by Norwegian choreographer Jo Strømgren, renowned for his abundant creativity and his ability to marry humour and poetry. His work reveals the beauty of fleeting moments and emotions buried beneath the weight of daily routine. At the end of his life, a character unravels the thread and brings to light the shadows. The dance, eloquent and expressive, explores the contradictions of the human being, while magnifying those flashes of grace that give meaning to existence.
