Grant National Historic Site, this historic property offers a glimpse into their early life together. Guests will tour the home and grounds, including the 1800s greenhouse and a stable-turned-museum, while learning about the Grants’ lives, their marriage, and the complex history of the plantation.

Next, enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at The Lodge at Grant’s Trail. Your meal includes a variety of hearty favorites such as salad, top round of beef au jus, chicken modiga, Sicilian potatoes, cavatelli con broccoli, Italian vegetable medley, and cherry crisp for dessert, all served with rolls, butter, iced tea, and coffee. Be sure to explore the uniquely themed dining rooms, including the Abraham Lincoln Room and the Mary Lincoln Room.

After lunch, continue your journey with a visit to the Missouri Civil War Museum, located at historic Jefferson Barracks. As the state’s premier Civil War museum, it honors the thousands of men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice.
