Steven C Presents Thankful Together: Songs of Gratitude & Thanksgiving

Pianist and composer Steven C just couldn't wait until Christmas to return to the Cathedral of Saint Paul. So this year, he is moving his nine foot Bösendorfer grand piano to the majestic space a bit earlier for "Thankful Together," a free concert at 3PM on Friday, November 28, featuring songs of gratitude and thanksgiving.

Steven will be joined by special guest, guitarist Billy McLaughlin, along with Diane Tremaine on cello, Nathan Wilson on mandolin and violin, and vocalists Jillian Anderson, Kathryn Budzien and Jack Cassidy. While Steven and Billy have been friends and colleagues for years, they have never once shared the stage together. Billy McLaughlin is recognized as a world-class guitarist, composer and inspirational performer who has earned international acclaim; Steven C is thrilled to host his dear friend just before his Christmastide Tour 2025 begins.

Musical selections include George Winston's Thanksgiving and Colors Dance for solo piano, a setting ofWe Gather Together for piano, cello and violin based on Windham Hill's arrangement, Simple Gifts and a stunning version of Brandon Lake's Gratitude for vocal trio.

Registration is requested for planning purposes. Doors open at 2PM.

A suggested donation of $10 per ticket is greatly appreciated to help offset production costs and to continue bringing quality programming to the community. Donations may be made through Eventbrite or in person.
