- **Event Description**: A free, intimate wellness experience for Black men centered on reflection, movement, mental health, and brotherhood.About this EventMind & Movement ResetThe Black Parachute 501(c)(3) nonprofit invites Black men and young men ages 16+ in the Twin Cities, MN area to Mind & Movement Reset, a free and intimate mental wellness experience designed to create space to slow down, check in, and take care of ourselves together.This experience is intentionally limited to 25 participants to preserve a comfortable, personal environment where men can reflect, connect, and participate fully.What to ExpectThe experience will include:1-Hour Guided Journaling ExperienceLed by The Black Parachute, participants will move through a facilitated journaling experience centered on reflection, emotional wellness, self-awareness, and moving forward.30-Minute Guided WorkoutFollowing the journaling experience, participants will transition into a 30-minute workout led by a professional and experienced trainer. The workout is designed to get participants moving in an encouraging, supportive environment.Free Journal + Gift BagEvery registered attendee will receive a complimentary The Black Parachute Journal, along with a free gift bag and additional resources.Light RefreshmentsLight refreshments will be available for attendees.Who Can Attend?Mind & Movement Reset is open to Black men and young men ages 16 and older.There is no cost to participate.Only 25 Spots AvailableBecause this is intentionally designed as a small, intimate experience, registration is limited to 25 participants.Please register only if you are committed to attending. Every registration reserves a seat that could otherwise be offered to another participant. If your plans change after registering, please cancel your registration as soon as possible so your spot can be made available to someone else.Workout Participation & WaiverThe workout portion includes physical activity. All attendees are required to complete the health screening and participation waiver during registration.Participants under 18 will also need a parent or legal guardian to complete the required consent and liability waiver before participating in the workout.Photography NoticeA professional photographer and select photography-only media may be present during portions of the event.No video recording will take place.
