We are launching our first online audio course! Come celebrate and learn more with 's John Noltner and creative producer Amy Chatelaine. We will talk aboout the power of storytelling and unpack some of the offerings in this new resource.
We've been working on this project for most of the year and are excited to share it with you! (plus, it's always good to hang out with our people.) Here's a little more about the course:
Join us on a journey of the heart.
Each day, you will receive a 7-8 minute audio clip with a person's story and two prompts for your reflection.
The stories in this course come from interviews with everyday Americans, rooted in the question, "What does peace mean to you?" We hope that these stories become a compass that points to the heart of humanity across America and in your own backyard.
And here's what people are saying about it:
Come celebrate with us. Doors open at 6:30pm. Program starts at 7.
Everyone is welcome. Bring a friend and introduce them to our work.
We'll have books for sale.
There will be light snacks and beverages on hand.
Tickets are free, but required, so register soon and let us know we can look forward to seeing you!
John Noltner is the Founder and Executive director of A Peace of My Mind, a 501c3 whose mission is to bridge divides and build community through storytelling and art.
A gifted storyteller, Noltner has worked on four continents, gathering stories of human courage, grace, and resilience. He has produced projects for national magazines, Fortune 500 companies, and non-profit organizations.
When he is not on the road gathering stories, he might be found tending to seedlings at his 80-acre Christmas tree farm in the rolling hills of western Wisconsin or exploring the world with his family and cocker spaniel named Road Trip.
A Peace of My Mind is a multimedia arts project that uses portraits and personal stories to bridge divides and build community. Through exhibits, workshops, lectures, on-site studios, and online learning, A Peace of My Mind leads transformative experiences that help a polarized world rediscover the common humanity that connects us.
