The winner of the contest gets a huge $1,000 check plus a feature story about them in the Pioneer Press!How it works:PRELIMS*The prelims were 9 weeks, every Tuesday, from July 14th-Sep 8th. Each week featured new lineups of 10 contestants doing 5 minutes each.*Audience members scored each contestant's peformance on a 1-10 scale (1 = they should keep their day job; 10 = how are they not on Netlix??)*The 9 highest scoring comics secured spots in the .*This week is Redemption Week: the 10th -19th highest scoring comics from Weeks 1-9 return for one shot at redemption, with the highest score securing the 10th spot in the Sept 22nd finale!*General Admission for Redemption Week is free. There is also a $5 Reserved Seating option, which can be purchased on this website and allows you to pre-select where you'd like to sit.*Arrive between 6:30-6:45 for the best seats, also giving you time to get food, drinks, and a digital scorecard. Showtime begins at approximately 7:15 and ends about 8:45.--------------------*The Finale takes place on Tuesday, Sept 22nd. 10 finalists and a packed room of audience members judging them to determine who will win the contest and $1,000 prize! The winner will also have a feature article written about them in the St Paul Pioneer Press. This show will sell out so ordering tickets onine is highly encouraged.
