Join the Florida Trail Association at St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge as we celebrate the completion of the new Spring Creek Bridge along the Florida National Scenic Trail!

This special guided hike is more than just a walk to a bridge. Participants will hike with the actual FTA staff who helped build it, hear the story behind the project, and learn what it took to complete this important trail improvement in a challenging and beautiful section of the Florida Trail.

• Guided hike to the new Spring Creek Bridge
• Behind-the-scenes stories from the FTA staff involved in the project
• A chance to learn about the planning, construction, and teamwork behind the bridge
• A beautiful evening on the Florida Trail at St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge

📍 Location: St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge
Parking area is near the trail. There is no physical address. Here is a link to Google Maps location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/3tSUGe8Uo4x7sY3S8 The GPS coordinates are: 30°06'05.2"N 84°19'44.8"W - head south on Spring Creek highway, take a right on Jack Crum Road, and look for FTA signs on the left.

⏱️ Time: About 2.5 hours
🕔 Departure Times: 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM
🎟️ Cost: Free, with donations encouraged
⚠️ Space is extremely limited, and pre-registration is required.

This is a great opportunity for current members, future members, hikers, volunteers, and anyone curious about the Florida Trail to experience FTA’s work up close.
