- **Event Description**: This in-person class is the first in our three-part Fundamentals of Photography series, taught consecutively in-store on January 24th. This course serves as an introduction to the basics and will teach you how to navigate the main settings on your camera. It’s great for beginners who want a better understanding of how to use their camera and take better pictures.

Join NCE Photo Experts as we cover a variety of introductory topics, including focusing, exposure, and composition. During the presentation, we’ll highlight differences between DSLR and mirrorless cameras, discuss why and when you might format your memory card, and share tips and tricks throughout. We will also talk about the use of filters and other helpful accessories.

This class is not camera-model specific, but participants are encouraged to bring their camera for reference. Questions are welcome throughout the presentation, with a short opportunity for follow-up at the end, as time allows. All participants will receive a printed companion guide to take home and refer back to when needed.
