Kids welcomed. I will have my 9 and 13 year old kiddos.
Meet at Safeway in the town of Saint Helens off Highway 30 at 2:30PM to drive up forrest roads to a nice disperse camp spot on Nikolai Mountain.
There are decent off-road trails for those that want to run them. 

Enjoy the view, the air and the stars.

Wake up casually the next morning to drive to Fort Stevens to park on the beach near the Peter Iredale shipwreck. 

Hang out on the beach let the kids play in the sand. If it’s close to low tide, I’ll bring a clam gun.

For those that want to go fishing, there’s a lake that is stocked regularly just a mile away, as an option.
Please be self-sufficient.

Bring firewood and snacks to share.

If you just want to join us near the shipwreck on the beach, we plan to be there around 11:00am.
