With plenty of individual attention, and hands-on practice, you’ll build real skills you can use long after the weekend is over.You’ll benefit from lots of hands-on opportunities while learning essential silversmithing techniques like: sawing and piercing, texturing and forming, soldering with a torch, and setting stones with both bezel and simple prong settings.With lots of instructor attention and a supportive environment, you’ll build confidence using tools and fire, learn how to avoid common mistakes, and discover how to plan and execute your own designs. This workshop is designed to give you a solid foundation in working with metal and using a variety of jewelry-making toolsMost students leave with three to five finished pieces—such as earrings, stackable rings, or gemstone jewelry—and the skills to keep creating long after class ends.
