2025 St. Charles Electric Christmas Parade

Important information:
REQUIRED - “Light Up” your entry with Holiday themed lights and decorations - 🎵 Music is encouraged
· Entries will be judged based on creativity, spirit, use of lights, and overall presentation.
· ONLY PARADE VEHICLES & UNITS ARE ALLOWED IN THE LINE-UP AREA.
· ALL drop-offs must be made outside the lineup area off Illinois Street or south 7th Street.

· Santa costumes are NOT allowed.
· For the safety of our parade, handing out/throwing of any item (including candy) is NOT permitted.
The parade will step-off at 5:30 p.m. SHARP.
· Parade Marshals (wearing neon yellow) will be available at each intersection to help.
· Please pay attention to our Parade Pacers (wearing neon yellow) along the parade route. They are responsible for ensuring the pace of the parade.
· Please turn off headlights as you enter the parade route (if you have automatic headlights, please turn to “off” if possible.)
· At the end of the parade route:
o All marching bands will exit north on 4th Avenue
o All vehicles will exit south on 4th Avenue
o Very large vehicles will either exit east on Main Street or south on 4th Avenue
o This is subject to change - Please follow directions of POLICE at end of parade route
o All riders must exit vehicles and floats past Illinois Avenue as QUICKLY as possible to keep the flow of the parade moving. Do not immediately stop.
· The parade will not be canceled. Please dress appropriately for inclement weather.
· Restrooms will be located at South 6th Street in Parking Lot D
