- **Event Description**: The South West Neonatal Network are delighted to be collaborating with Children’s Hospice South West to run these engaging events.About this EventThis free in person study day is being delivered at:Charlton Farm Children’s Hospice outside Bristol on October 12thLittle Harbour Children’s Hospice in St Austell on October 19thThe same programme will be delivered on both days but in 2 different locations to enable staff to attend.The day is aimed at band 5 & 6 nurses with an interest in palliative care but is also open to other staff who would like to enhance their knowledge of this area of neonatal care to support with care delivery in their service.The programme will include a tour of the hospice and sessions on:Sensitive communicationUncertainty and parallel planning, including advance care planningSymptom ManagementMemory making & sibling supportAs places are limited on each day, we suggest up to 4 from each NICU, 3 from each LNU and 2 from each SCU & SoNAR. Any remaining places will be allocated as fairly as possible.Join us for a day of engaging speakers and shared learning.
