The training will include:-Theory: Clinical governance, duties and responsibilities, indications for use, preparation, record keeping, and trouble shootingPractical: Simulation and assessment in the first time set up of syringe pump/change of prescription, and replacement syringesPre-course reading: Local Policy and Procedure for the use of the BD BodyGuard Syringe Pump.A certificate will be awarded on successful completion of the simulated practical assessment and accurate completion of the Learning Checklist.
