We are excited to announce the formation of the first ever Association, dedicated to promoting Japanese culture and arts in all their forms, fostering friendship, and building stronger cultural ties between Japan and Trinidad and Tobago!

To celebrate our launch, we are proud to present our very first event:

Join us for an unforgettable day of Japanese culture, creativity, and community featuring:

✍️ Calligraphy and Origami Workshops: Embassy of Japan

⚔️ Kendo Demonstration: Kendo Federation of Trinidad and Tobago

? Yukata Dressing, Ikebana, and Tea Ceremony Demos: Hachidorikai

? Live Cooking Demonstrations: Embassy of Japan

? Judo Demonstration: Queen’s Park Judo Club

? Japanese Music and Dance Performances

♟️ Learn to Play Dobutsu Shogi (Let's Catch the Lion): Hosted by CGCL

? Japanese Speech Contest: Hosted by UWI CLL and the Embassy of Japan

? Japanese Themed Cosplay Contest – Organized by ALIAS Entertainment
Prizes include anime hampers, a prized Kodachi sword, and more!
(Note: Cosplayed characters must be identifiably Japanese to highlight the cultural focus of the day!)

Do you want to be a member of the Association? Membership registration will also be open to the public at the event so come be part of our growing community! More info on this coming soon!
